TRAVEL WITH CHILDREN /
Finca El Cercado is ideal for families and groups of friends, as it is formed by two houses for full rent, which can be rented separately or together. The main house has capacity for 14 people (+3 extra) and the guest house for 3 people (+2 extra). They are fully equipped with kitchen, living room with fireplace, dining room, games room, terrace ... And outside there is plenty of space to play and run, in absolute tranquility and connection with nature.
NATURE & SPORTS /
Tailored Hiking. In El Cercado they will recommend different hiking and biking routes among wheat fields to enjoy the infinite horizons of the Castilian countryside.
Active turism. The most athletic have activities for all tastes and ages: horse riding, golf, Nordic walking, climbing, 4x4 routes ... You can also travel by boat or canoe the emblematic Canal de Castilla.
Ornithology. Another important attraction is the ornithological diversity of the region, declared Site of Community Interest of the Natura 2000 Network. In the lagoons and wetlands of the area, ornithological lovers can observe a multitude of migratory birds throughout the year, like the storks, herons, different types of geese or attend the spectacular "wheel" of the bustards.

Baltanás A few minutes drive from Finca El Cercado is the town of Baltanás, historic capital of the El Cerrato region. They emphasize the Church of San Millán of century XVI and its splendid choir and baroque organ. But the most curious thing is the neighborhood of the wineries, witness of a great wine tradition, formed by 400 wineries excavated in seven levels on the hill.
Palencia. Half an hour you can visit the capital of the province. Palencia has an interesting monumental complex, where stands out the Cristo del Otero, the Plaza Mayor, the Church of San Francisco and the Cathedral of Palencia, known as the "beautiful unknown".
Romanesque of the Palentina Mountain: Santa María la Real, Santa María la Real, Moarves de Ojeda, San Andrés de Arroyo, Perazancas de Ojeda and Santa María de Mave.
Villa Romana La Olmeda. Discovered in 1968, it is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Hispanic Roman world. It is a large mansion of the Lower Empire with an extension that exceeds 4,400 m². Its more than 1,400 m² of mosaics are among the best preserved in Spain.
Visigothic art. San Juan de Baños, in Baños de Cerrato, is considered the oldest Christian church in Spain and one of the few examples of Visigothic art.
Mudejar art. The church of San Facundo and San Primitivo, in Cisneros, has magnificent Mudejar coffered ceilings. Datan of the sixteenth century and were made by Juan de Carpeil, with great Moorish influences and are fantastic examples of Spanish ornamentation.
Santiago's road. The province of Palencia is 70 km from the Camino de Santiago, crossing towns with a rich historical-artistic heritage, such as Frómista, Villalcázar de Sirga or Carrión de los Condes.
Other charms of Palencia: Monastery of San Isidro de Dueñas, Walls of Nava, Támara de Campos or Becerril de Campos.
Contemporary architecture. We are in one of the most important wine regions of Spain, among the D.O. Ribera del Duero, Cigales, Rueda and Arlanza, where you can visit some of the wineries that have recently opted for avant-garde projects of great impact. Some are designed by large Pritzker Architecture Awards, such as Richard Rogers and Norman Foster.

El Cercado offers a unique environment for any kind of corporate or family event. Its hallmark is creativity, innovation and the commitment to make each project something exclusive.
The event pavilion offers a completely transparent interior space that can be set as a conference room, work meetings, dining room, workshop, etc. It has a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. For outdoor activities, it is connected to two large terraces on different levels, of 240 and 180 m², and on the other hand with a large 1,600 m² terrace to install a tent. In addition, there is a large outdoor parking.

Finca El Cercado is in an authentic foodie destination. Discover the variety and creativity of Spanish cuisine with gastro-custom experiences: tastings of wines, oils, cheeses or Iberian; specialized Spanish cooking courses, or tapas and pairings with exquisite local products.
In this wine region, between Ribera del Duero, Cigales, Rueda and Arlanza, you can visit from medieval cellars to the most contemporary wineries, some of which are famous international architects.
IN THE HOUSE /
Make yourself at home. In Finca El Cercado you will enjoy your own house in the countryside, with total tranquility and privacy. Rest in the living room in front of the fireplace, prepare your favorite dishes in the kitchen, take a relaxing bath in the bathtub, have fun with the games, watch the sunset on the terrace ...
A little while in the open air. The houses are located in a spectacular estate of 50 hectares, where you can walk among trees, observe birds, take a bath in the pool, sunbathe, relax under the pergolas, or know what is grown in the garden and the products that they are obtained in the farm, both ecological.
Unique experiences (on request). Among the activities organized by Finca El Cercado, are the wine tastings carried out on the property, with paired dinners. They also invite chefs to develop seasonal tastings or Spanish cooking classes and tapas. Other ideas are his aromas workshops or bird trilling workshops. Also the experience of apiculture or "beekeeper for a day", with special protective suits, explanation of the operation of the hives, importance of bees and tasting of different types of honeys.
