Casona de Labrada is an ideal accommodation to enjoy a family or group holiday. House 1 and House 3 have capacity for 2-4 people and House 2 for 6-10 people. You are provided with lots of privacy and independence, and all the equipment you´ll need to enjoy your stay to the fullest. Additionally, the natural environment in perfect for outdoor activities, both inside and outside the complex.
Sport, Nature and Adventure
In wild nature. The sustainable rural complex is located in a small village called Labrada, between A Pontenova (Lugo) and Taramundi (Asturias), in the heart of the well-known Biosphere Reserve Río Eo, Oscos and Tierra de Burón, recognized by UNESCO in 2007 The Ria del Eo is a place of Community interest (SCI) and a zone of special protection for birds (ZEPA).
Active turism. The location is ideal for practicing mountain activities and, being close to the coast of Lugo and Asturias, it is also possible to enjoy the sea. You can do many activities such as hiking, mountain biking, horses, hunting and fishing, quads, 4x4 routes, sailing, surfing, diving, boat trip on the Eo estuary, kayaking, multi-adventure, gymkhana, workshops for children and adults, bird watching, horses ... (They provide information of the active tourism companies so that they can organize activities, in our facilities and other places).
Beaches. Peñarronda beach 37 km, and Las Catedrales beach 40 km.
A few holes? Practice your favorite sport near Casona de Labrada. The 9-hole Castropol Golf is 38 km from the accommodation and the Cierro Grande Golf Club with 11 holes is 41 km away.
Leisure and Culture
The Oscos-Eo region, in addition to its great ecological value and quality gastronomy, has a great wealth of craftsmanship, ethnography and ancient traditions, such as the traditional manufacture of knives. The various mallets and forges are recommended visit to know how they lived centuries ago in this privileged area.
Visits of interest: Ox Teixois Ethnographic Complex (Taramundi), Mazonovo Mills Museum (Taramundi), Bres Water House (Taramundi), House - Traditional Cutlery Museum (Taramundi), Bogo Ferrery (A Pontenova) or Meredo de Maredo (Vegadeo).
In the House
Make yourself at home. The full rental of any of the three houses allows an independent and intimate stay. You can feel at home resting in the room, chatting in the living room with fireplace or preparing a recipe in the kitchen.
A little while in the open air. Casona de Labrada is located in a place of high ecological value, surrounded by chestnut, oak, birch and eucalyptus forests. Enjoy this natural environment on the terrace, the porch or the garden. And is that each house has large gardens, with loungers and garden furniture.
Ethnography. The rural complex is the result of the reconstruction of old houses in a village, where original materials such as stone, wood and slate have been used. Outside you can also see two emblematic and protected buildings in this region: the Asturian hórreo and the cabazo or cabozo gallego.
Recharge of electric cars. Casona de Labrada is the first establishment in Galicia and the second in the Cantabrian cornice to offer its customers free recharging TESLA electric cars, and other manufacturers with Type II connectors.
