In the warehouse of an old wine property, south of Lanzarote, Gonzalo and Mayca have imagined a rural house, respectful of the environment and the volcanic ecosystem of the island. They have called it: Buenavista Lanzarote Country.
Located in Asomada, in the municipality of Tías, this eco-friendly property of 10 hectares recycles water, uses solar energy, led lighting,... As the Geria is THE wine area of Lanzarote, no wonder that the principal activity of the house is the vine, especially the vine of Malvasía. They still use the traditional method: the vines are almost burried in the volcanic sand and surrounded by stone walls that protect them from the wind. Buenavista Lanzarote Country ist an exclusive and intimate accomodation with a modern and minimalist decoration, where you will always be in contact with the volcanic nature thanks to its big windows. There only are 3 rooms, which are 3 suites designed by the architect Néstor Pérez Batista, born in Lanzarote but living in Berlin. Both have their own living room where you can sit, read and admire the beautiful mountains of Timanfaya. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue, and only the noise of the animals will disturb the silence. There is a kitchen and a complete breakfast is served every morning in the room, with local products, goat-milk yogurt, homemade jams,...
