Sanmartina is a rural hotel located in the neighborhood of the Castilian plateau, an area called Tierra de Campos, at only 15 km from the city of Palencia and surrounded by vineyards and cereal fields. It is an old restored Castilian house located in Becerril de Campos, a town where barely 800 people live today.
The current owner, Isabel, a lover of quality hotel, wanted to develop this project as she was born in that village. The hotel has 7 rooms with a bright decoration and contrasts with the original elements of the building. They have incorporated the spirit of the hotels that they have visited all these years. The building also has interesting common areas and a garden of 850 meters from which to see the stars.

Although Becerril is known, especially for its Classroom of Astronomy that is located in the Church of San Pedro, a temple that closed to the cult in 1940, but that opened its doors again in 2015.
Another of the charms of Becerril, is its location next to the Canal de Castilla. A navigable canal whose development in the s. XVIII and XIX helped transport the cereal from Castile to the northern ports. Today is one of the most important attractions in the area.

A must is to visit its cathedral and the Cristo del Otero, impressive for its size. Half an hour from Becerril, you will find Frómista, one of the stages of the Camino de Santiago, impressive for its heritage.
In Becerril itself, it is well worth walking through its streets and contemplate its interesting porticoed square that has 13 columns that refer to the 12 apostles and Jesus Christ.

Hotel nuevo decorado en estilo moderno, muy acogedor y confortable, cuidado al detalle. Buena relación calidad precio. Totalmente recomendable para desconectar un fin de semana y disfrutar de la tranquilidad y el sosiego del entorno. Muy buena atención de la encargada.
Hotel con unas instalaciones modernas y confortables. La habitación donde nos hemos alojado está muy bien. Espaciosa, con una gran cama y el baño es perfecto. Muy amables en la atención, cuidando los detalles para una estancia muy agradable. Ideal para grupo de amigos.
La casa es preciosa, muy luminosa, con mi buena calefacción y situada en el centro del pueblo.La atención de la familia que lo lleva es excelente. La visita a San Pedro Cultural, en el mismo pueblo es muy interesante y didáctica. La visita a Becerril ha merecido la pena en todos los aspectos.
