Part of the Egües Valley and only 6km from Pamplona in Navarra we find the Castillo de Gorraiz Hotel & Spa, Navarra, an unique hotel space designed to enjoy nature and relax. The Di­ez de Ulzurrun Goñi Brothers, the fourth generation of a family long devoted to the catering industry, opened in 2008 this elegant hotel that blends seamlessly with the nearby palace of the XVI century, restored in 1998, which hosts the restaurant that continues the family catering tradition started in the early last century in Sales Ulzuma. Inside the hotel, the fusion of stone, wood and furniture design up a leisurely atmosphere in which the author pictures, including Manolo Valdes originals, and velvet curtains shows up theatrical environment reminiscent. Inside the rooms, all with terrace, Roberto Atienza gets this same fusion of styles (vintage, art nouveau boheme-chic ...) with a dose of romanticism without renouncing modernity. Comfort, always present, clearly materializes

in their heavenly beds, in which we have the feeling of sleeping under cover of clouds lying between the covers and down pillows. Bathrooms are remarkable because of stunning handmade Venetian mirrors, which have their analogy in the exceptional front that dominates the hotel's spa. Within it, the Bohemian crystal chandeliers and views of the strawberry and orange indoor garden join us on our way through the water area, the tepidarium or relaxation area, where we can taste freshly cut fruit and tea. And nothing better than to watch the sunset from the terrace of the hotel, gazing how the evening turns to subtle stroke orange to Pamplona.
