Quinta da Bouça d'Arques">Quinta da Bouça d'Arques is placed in a 7 hectare estate, enveloped in a leafy vineyard that flanks it on the north and south, belonging to the Abrey Teixeira family for over 300 years is set in a privilged location in the Neiva river valley in the foothills of the D´Arques mountain. During the refurbishment the architectural outlines of the “minhotos” sites were preserved. The establishment consists of three buildings with spacious interiors and exteriors achieving privacy and tranquility. The salt water swimming pool and the gardens with fountains and vegetable gardens create a feeling of being close to nature. Each guest room is individually decorated using discrete colours and ethnic touches creating a synergy between the classic and the modern. Breakfasts, served in the garden or in the rooms, are prepared with home-made products such as jams and quince, yoghurt, warm bread and fruit grown in the hotel orchard.
