A PERFECT WEEKEND /

In the heart of the Marina Alta, the old town of Orba still smells of pottery and hospitality, whose Moorish past vibrates in the arabesque of its old town and the colors of its facades, perfectly cared for today by its neighbors, proud of their local uniqueness.

Day 1

On this first day we will recommend you to walk through its streets, and soak up the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings.

•Activity: if you feel like doing some hiking, we suggest you go up to El Castellet, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the entire valley with the Mediterranean Sea in the background. At the top you will find the ruins of a fortress, which is popularly known as "El Castellet".

*Duration and difficulty: Approximately 2/3 hours, and a distance of 5km between the round trip. Moderate due to the slope. It is not a technical route, nor dangerous.

•Food: 500 meters from the hotel, in Orbeta, a district of Orba, is the Cal Morell restaurant, a charming place, with good service, specializing in grilled meats and very well-cooked fish.

•Complementary activity: to end the day, nothing better than enjoying the Delcel Jacuzzi experience, which consists of two hours of privacy in our Jacuzzi between the mountains, right on the hotel's rooftop, with spectacular views. The price is €54 per couple

•Dinner at the hotel: you can choose between an Arabic themed dinner on Fridays, or a Mediterranean one on Saturdays, but remember to book 24 hours in advance as capacity is limited. Price: €27.5 per person.

Day 2

•Activity: Hiking Sierra Cavall Verd and Vall de Laguar (20' by car from Mardenit) On this second day, after having breakfast "like kings", we recommend you travel to the past through a route that will surprise you for the rich landscape and view, from where you can see Ibiza.

Duration and difficulty: Approximately 3/4 hours, about 10km and about 400 meters of elevation gain. Suitable for everyone. Depending on the time and your preparation, it can be done partially.

•Food: We recommend Venta Collao, a mountain restaurant, or the Nou Cavall Verd, run by renowned chef Evarist Miralles, winner of the Best Chef in Spain award in 2012. Depending on your taste, reserve one or the other. As guests of Mardenit you will be more than welcome.

•Activity: Cova del Rull (30' by car from Venta el Collao. 35' from Mardenit) Located in the Vall d'Ebo, this is possibly one of the most unknown and impressive caves in the Mediterranean. The route has a length of 220 m and a drop of 19 m. All visits are carried out with the accompaniment of a specialized guide. Hours: Open every day from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Price: €5 (per person)

Day 3

•Activity: Visit to the Museu del Fang (Right next to our hotel.) The Museu del Fang d'Orba's main mission is to highlight the pottery history of Orba and Orbeta, rescuing the memory of clay work from oblivion and extolling its importance as a traditional trade in the past of the municipality since the end of the 17th century. Hours: Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5/8 p.m. Sundays 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Free entrance. Free visit.

•Visit to the Jardí de l'Albarda (15' by car from Mardenit) Hours: Open every day from 10am-2pm. Price: €6 (per person). Free and guided visit. Accept pets.

•Visit to Xàbia (Historic Center) (15' by car from the Garden. 30' from Mardenit) Although it is little known, it is one of the most unique historical centers in the Mediterranean. We recommend you take a walk and enjoy the singularities, and architectural details such as the covers of the houses, as well as auctions. You cannot miss its impressive church, a fortified religious building whose origins on the apse-tower date back to the 14th century, being the Valencian Gothic-style building, built in the 16th century.

•Visit to Cap de Sant Antoni (10' by car from the old town. 40' from Mardenit) Located between Dénia and Xàbia. It is a viewpoint located in the easternmost sector of the Province of Alicante, finding vertical cliffs. It is part of the Natural Park of the Montgó massif (753 meters above sea level). On some cliffs they exceed 150 meters above sea level, with impressive views, which on clear days let us see Ibiza

•Food: In Xàbia and Dénia, there is a wide range of restaurants. Ask us and we will recommend the most appropriate option.

Make yourself at home. This only adults has 5 exclusive rooms, which will provide you with the privacy and comfort you were looking for. You can also rest in the living room.

Room with views. The rooms have balconies or terraces, furnished with chairs, tables or sunbeds, so you can enjoy the good weather and the views.

A little while in the open air. In addition to the balconies and terraces, you can have a good time on the roof of the hotel and prepare a barbecue.
