The Hotel Finca Fuente Techada is a family farmhouse located on a recreational estate of 11 wooded hectares, ideal to enjoy with family or friends a few quiet days. Its rooms are spacious and comfortable, highlighting the suite with two bedrooms. Children over 10 are welcome, and there is the possibility of including extra beds in several rooms.

Natural spaces. Finca Fuente Techada is located at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama. Las Hoces del Duratón Natural Park is 40 km away.

Hiking to your needs No need to take the car you can enjoy delicious walks in the surroundings. There are good hiking trails to appreciate the natural wealth of the Guadarrama National Park, the beauty of the Camino de San Frutos or the Pirón River. And for the more intrepid, an attractive excursion to the port of Malangosto, route used and mentioned by the Archpriest of Hita or a climb to visit the Monastery of the Virgin of the Sierra and its looms.

Active turism. In the area you can make numerous active tourism activities, such as cycling routes, horse riding, trekking, canoeing, rafting, paragliding, ultralight flight or gliding.

CULTURE & LEISURE /

Sotosalbos. Finca Fuente Techada is located 2 km from Sotosalbos. With 45 inhabitants, Sotosalbos is a beautiful hamlet of stone houses with an authentic flavor, that remains intact without a hint of abuses of indiscriminate construction. The church of San Miguel (11th century) is the best example of popular Romanesque architecture in the province of Segovia, with a simple and imposing fortress tower that can be seen from the entire pasture. Between Sotosalbos and Collado Hermoso also highlight the ruins of the Cistercian monastery of Santa María de la Sierra (13th century).

World Heritage. The accommodation is only 18 km from the city of Segovia, declared a World Heritage Site, and gastronomic capital par excellence.

Other visits of interest. Its location is very good as a starting point to visit emblematic places such as Pedraza (19 km) with its medieval streets, Sepúlveda (39 km) with its majestic castle, La Granja de San Ildefonso (18 km) with the Royal Palace and its lavish gardens, or Turégano or Torreval de San Pedro, only 20 km away, with its well-known antiquarians.

IN THE HOTEL /

The day starts well. The Fuente Techada breakfasts are delicious and an excuse to be together and share a good chat. It's good to start the day with eggs from happy hens from the farm itself; different Spanish and French cheeses; blackberry jam from the farm and other fruits (all made at home); breads of the tahona de Pedraza, of sesame, integral, of nuts, and the white rosco typical of there. Also Navarre olive oil and homemade pastries.

A little while in the open air. The country house is located on a 11-hectare farm abundantly wooded by ash and oaks, a 2,500 m² lagoon, and is crossed by two streams. Ideal for walking and enjoying nature, as well as interacting with animals, because here also live sheep, horses, the Malva donkey and the dogs of the house.
