BAZTÁN-BIDASOA, THE FOREST MAGIC IN AUTUMN

Get to the lands of Baztán-Bidasoa to soak up culture and tradition. Its deciduous forests are a must see in autumn. Enjoy walks to unique places, such as the Xorroxin waterfall, Infernuko Errota and the Ziga viewpoint.You can also visit the nearby Natural Park of Señorío de Bertiz. In this valley of nobles and Indians, discover beautiful and Renaissance villages, such as Elizondo, and follow the footprint of “The Baztán Trilogy” by Dolores Redondo. We recommend you to stay in Hotel Churrut, an 18th century building located in Vera de Bidasoa.

Cáceres

Cáceres is a region full of history, culture and traditions. Visit the Monumental City and sleep in the Apartamentos La Tierra Roja, and get to the Bishop’s Palace in Plasencia; nearby you’ll find the Palacio Carvajal Girón, a wonderful hotel. On the other hand, El Turcal Hotel is close to the Yuste Monastery and the Garganta la Olla Artistic Historic Site. If you love nature, we recommend visiting Los Barruecos Natural Monument, a beautiful nature creation declared a Natural Monument and sleeping in Hotel La Tierra Roja in Aliseda, Finca la Ramallosa, an old village surrounded by nature in Sierra de Gata, and the spectacular Valle del Jerte while you relax in Casa de Aldaca Rural.

GETAWAY TO CANTABRIA

One of the charms of Cantabria is its fishing villages, with fabulous beaches, impressive monuments and a wonderful gastronomy. Castro Urdiales surprises with its medieval old town, with the gothic church of Santa María de la Asunción, the castle-lighthouse of Santa Ana and the medieval bridge. Take a walk along the beaches of Ostende and Brazomar and get a good taste with bream, cuttlefish or snails.
In Santoña, live a great marine experience visiting its port, one of the most prominent of Cantabria, the beach of Berria, the Monastery of Santa María del Puerto and the Marismas Nature Reserve. Seafood is the star here, specially the delicious anchovies. A few kilometers away, in the Real Valle de Guriezo, you can rest in Rusticae Apartamentos Casa de Liz.

ENJOY ZARAGOZA LIKE A LOCAL IN THE PILARES FESTIVITIES

The Pilar festivities are a great opportunity to visit the city of Zaragoza. One of the highlights is the Offering of Flowers, in the Plaza de las Catedrales on the 12th. Thousands of people dressed up with traditional costumes bring flowers to the Virgin.
