THE PERFECT WEEKEND /

From the hotel we propose to know the Costa Brava, a sum of sensations that will surprise you. Nature plays a prominent role in this territory, and all this just 30 minutes from the city of Girona. We also propose something more cultural and what better way to visit the Dalí Museum and the Gala Castle. Girona is a privileged city, between the Pyrenees mountain range and the Costa Brava we have the possibility of making many excursions to discover spectacular spaces.

Day 1

In the morning:

Visit the Old Quarter of Girona (with the possibility of being with a guided tour). We advise you to get lost in the streets of the oldest Girona.

Lunch at the 8 de 7 restaurant. And where better than to make desserts at the ice cream parlor of the three Roca brothers, called Rocambolesc and located just 1 minute from the restaurant!

In the afternoon:

Return to the hotel to take a relaxing nap under the olive trees and enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool.

Then we propose a fantastic massage here at the hotel. Where you can choose between a relaxing massage, Thai, aguahara, ayurveda or arun.

In the evening:

To end the first day in Girona, we recommend you go to dinner at the Mimolet restaurant.

Day 2

In the morning:

Visit the Costa Brava. Go to Calella de Palafrugell, a charming little town with beautiful coves. Eat at the Sa Jambina restaurant.

In the afternoon:

Walking the coastal path, a historic path that was created with the basic functionalities of communicating the different towns, beaches and coves of the coast.

Then go for a drink in Llafranc or Tamariu. Two beautiful small coastal towns.

In the evening:

After such a full day, we suggest going back to the hotel and having a cheese board with a glass of wine on the garden porch.

And to end the day, a relaxing bath in our jacuzzi with the views of the illuminated Girona.

Day 3

In the morning:

Today is cultural day. So we will visit the Dalí museum. You can go by train or by car (30 min).

To eat we recommend returning to Girona and going to the restaurant El Cul Del Món.

In the afternoon:

Go back to the hotel and relax. For this we propose to do a Yoga class.

In the evening:

Go to dinner in the center of Girona, at the Sinfonía restaurant, a wine bar that you will surely love.

Montjuic B & B can accommodate children over 10 years old. In the rooms can accommodate extra beds, having capacity for 2, 3 or 4 people.

Bikes. At the hotel you can rent classic or electric bicycles to explore Girona.

Coast. The Costa Brava is 30 minutes from Montjuic B & B. Enjoy its beaches, hidden coves and promenades, such as the spectacular Caminos de Ronda.

Natural spaces. Less than an hour from the establishment, you can visit areas of great natural wealth such as the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa or the Natural Park dels Aiguamolls de l'Empordà.

Active turism. Enjoy the open air and nature of Girona by doing activities such as hiking, mountain biking, horse riding or via ferrata.

Golf. Golf PGA Catalunya Resort 20 minutes.

Snow. In the Girona Pyrenees you can enjoy skiing in some of the alpine ski resorts, such as La Molina, Masella, Núria or Vallter.

CULTURE & HERITAGE /

Girona Montjuic B & B is a 10-minute walk from the old town of Girona. Enjoy its Cathedral, wall, Jewish quarter, its bridges, the houses hanging over the river Oñar (visit Casa Masó) or the Arab baths. You can sign up for a guided tour and get to know the city better. At Montjuic B & B they will inform you of everything.

Festivals and Festivals of Girona. Take advantage of your trip to enjoy some of the highlights of the year in the city of Girona, such as the Temps de Flors, San Narciso Festival, Holy Week or the festivals of performing arts, music or art that take place throughout of the year.

Walk the province. The city of Girona is a privileged place to visit the rest of the province. Visit medieval villages such as Pals or Peratallada, the Dalinian Triangle, the coastal towns of the Costa Brava or those of La Garrotxa, such as Besalú.

Other options. From Girona you can also go to the city of Barcelona and spend a day visiting its main attractions, such as the Gothic Quarter, the Sagrada Familia, the Park Güell, the Ramblas or the boutiques of Paseo de Gracia. Another idea is to go into France and visit charming fishing villages, such as Collioure, where Antonio Machado is buried; or make a wine route through the Languedoc-Roussillon or Perpignan region.

IN MONTJUIO B&B /

The day starts well. Every morning a delicious homemade and organic breakfast is served in the dining room. It is a buffet based on seasonal fruit, organic yogurt, honey and natural strawberries, coffee creams, custard or panacotas, home-made jams, artisan and local cheese platters, assortment of artisanal and Iberian sausages, eco eggs of happy hens, smoked salmon, nuts, eco cereals of two types, homemade cake, crepes or 100% butter croissants, apple juice and fresh juice made every day of fruits: mango, pineapple, apple, carrot , orange, peach ..., coffee or tea, and eco bread of three types.

Make yourself at home. Montjuic B & B is characterized by its warm, comfortable and quiet spaces. The rooms have large, ergonomic beds with Egyptian cotton sheets; and the bathrooms have chromotherapy and showers with river stones floor to relax the feet. In addition, some have a private terrace or direct access to the garden.

A little while in the open air. Rest on the terrace, stroll through the garden, watch the organic garden or take a dip in the pool.
