Racó de Vall de Roures are two antigues 1689 buildings, listed as historical-artistic and converted into a group of boutique apartments located in the medieval quarter of Valderrobres, Matarraña’s capital, a region known as the Aragonese Tuscany. In their restoration, the architects managed to scrupulously maintain the elements used in the original construction, stone and wood, which combined modern materials offer spectacular finishes and all the necessary comforts.
This rural house Racó de Vall de Roures is divided into four floors, containing 4 apartments with capacities between 2 and 6 people. Very well equipped, they all have living room with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom area. We highlight the Matarraña Apartment, located on the ground floor where once the house’s corral was, adapted for guests with reduced mobility. Also, the Ulldemó Apartment, the most spacious with three bedrooms, one of which is in the penthouse enjoying excellent views of the village. Besides being able to book each of them independently, there is also the option to rent the house in full.

It has 5 bedrooms with bathroom and two common areas: a SPA zone on the ground floor and at the highest floor, a nice space with kitchen and livingroom of 70 metres, perfect for family reunions or business meetings. Furthermore, The owners of Racó de Vall de Roures and Casa Pilaretes have made the Parrisal Apartment available to their clients, a duplex apartment that is very exclusive with great views. The Parrisal apartment has 2 bedrooms with bathrooms and a complete kitchen / dining room with views of the Matarraña River. This apartment is located in the same Plaza del Ayuntamiento, an architectural jewel of the 16th century which is accessed from the well-known Gothic bridge and the Portal de Sant Roc.
Valderrobres is a magnificent medieval and Renaissance setting on the banks of the Matarraña River, a village that during the reign of Alfonso V came to preside over the Aragonese Parliament in 1429. The old town lies between the river and a hill at the top, where we find important vestiges of pre-Roman Iberian settlements and two imposing medieval buildings: the Castle-Palace of Valderrobres, dating back to the twelfth century, and the church of Santa María la Mayor.
Valderrobres is an excellent starting point to tour the other towns in the region, enjoying active tourism in its natural environment. Enjoy Racó de Vall de Roures with Rusticae
