A perfect weekend in Gran Villa Palmera

As we've a minimum stay of 7 nights, here comes the perfect week ;-)

Arriving at the airport from the mainland or via the ferry from Tenerife, take a rental car (via Monta you can rent out e-cars and you can charge them at our house !) and drive in 35 minutes over to the sun-kissed Aridane valley on the west coast. The team of the Gran Villa Palmera will welcome you with a welcome drink and a little introduction of the amenities of the house, terraces, pool and garden.

For groceries everything is close by and in walking distance (15min) or a small ride to nice local shops and big supermarkets.

You want to visit lively Los Llanos and Tazacorte, the black sand beaches of Tazacorte or Charco Verde and enjoy the endless possibilities for great hikes (all levels) allover the island.

Great restaurants like Re-Belle, El Duende del Fuego or Rincón de Moraga are close by and serve fab cuisine.

Discover the north of La Isla Bonita along the town Tijarafe and Puntagorda up to Santo Domingo. Even further north the romantic El Tablado or Franceses are wonderful destinations and trails. Spend a day in Santa Cruz with it's unique old town and either head south to Fuencaliente passing thru Breña Baja and Villa de Mazo or heading north via romantic San Andrés and the sea pools Charco Azul up to Barlovento.

Don't miss the amazing Cumbre Vieja National Park with the Roque de Los Cuervas, Ruta de los Volcanes and of course the top of the Roque de los Muchachos (2.426m) with all the high end astrophysical observatories. And you wanna learn about the recent volcanic eruption - the by now inactive crater and the lava field can be seen from our villa.

But in the end you will need more then a week on La Palma and at the Gran Villa Palmera, as you'll stay a few days just at the charming villa, hang out in the garden or at one of the different terraces and enjoy the heated pool with a countercurrent system. The kitchen is super well equipped and so is the entire house.
