Forau de Aigualluts. After a delicious breakfast in Acebo de Casa Muria, we will head for Forau de Aigualluts, one of the most spectacular places in Spain. You will reach the famous waterfall at Aigualluts and see Mount Aneto (at 3404 metres, the highest in the Pyrenees). A place to take that perfect photo! Subject to a certain amount of luck, will maight have the chance to observe our laziest animal: marmots. Two hours approximately of gentle activity in a unique environment. In the afternoon, we will visit the village of Benasque, also known as the little Switzerland of the Pyrenees. A nice touristic town with some of its secrets waiting to be unveiled…. After a delicious breakfast we set off for Alquézar, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Today, we will enter the Vero River gorge, famous for its spectacular footbridges. A breathtaking landscape carved in the rock, colors exploding around us under the sun shine. The route ends at the beautiful Collegiate Cathedral of Alquézar, a monument of unique beauty. Around two hours of soft activity in a unique environment. In the afternoon, we will visit the Enate winery, to learn firsthand about the Somontano region best wines. Cultural day to discover some thousand-year-old monuments. After breakfast, we hit the road to the Isabena Valley. Two real gems await us there: Roda de Isabena Cathedral and Obarra Monastery. We will enjoy guided tours developed by expert heritage guides. In the afternoon, we will visit some lovely chapels in Taüll, a UNESCO world heritage site. Romanesque Art at its purest form. After breakfast and check-out (we change hotel today) we head towards Monte Perdido y Ordesa National Park. Majestic mountains, endless forests and beautiful valleys await us for a very special day, one to remember! We will enter along a gentle prairie in Ordesa in search of surprises, geology, fauna and flora alike. Four hours approximately of gentle activity. In the afternoon, we will go to our new accommodation in Casa Barosse, where Gustavo and Jose will welcome us to this exclusive rural hotel, a little jewel in the Aragonese Pyrenees. After a delicious breakfast at Casa Barosse, we set our goal for today: to discover the beautiful western valleys in the Oza Forest and the incredible Aguas Tuertas Valley, a sensory delight. A soft activity in some of the most hidden and beautiful areas of the Pyrenees. Our expert guides will unveil the secrets of this beautiful nature spot. Visit Canfranc Train Station / Citadel of Jaca. In the afternoon, we will visit one of Spain’s best preserved fortresses: The Jaca Citadel, listed as part of Spain’s historical heritage. After breakfast, we will go to Los Mallos de Riglos, unique for its rock formations. We end our week with a gentle scenic excursion through these high rocky towers, home to many raptors.
