Gastronomy and agrotourism in the province of Burgos

We propose an experience in Barbadillo (Burgos) where you will get to know first-hand the best flavours of Burgos gastronomy.

Upon arrival at the accommodation, you will have free time to enjoy the facilities and the heated swimming pool. In the evening we will bring you to the rural house your KM0 dinner which will include a Burgos cake filled with sausage and drinks (vegetarian option available).

The next day you will visit the biggest sculpture in the world created by a single person. On a scale of 1:1. Made from recycled materials it recreates a Castilian village from the Middle Ages to the last century. In addition to the typical Castilian façades, you'll also find around fifteen themed museums, several shop windows and two playhouses, which come to life during the summer months during their festival.

After the visit we will head to our local restaurant where we can enjoy local food cooked on the grill, typical Burgos tapas and many more seasonal dishes.

On the last day we will visit an Arlanza denomination of origin winery characterised by being small and traditional, coexisting with the most advanced technologies.
